PIcking Wool
Kim and I took some time Saturday night to pick my Merino and Rambouillet fleeces. Strange as it seems, it was wonderfully relaxing to sort through the wool on the grass outside our building. The heat was horribly oppressive but after a long day in the booth it was a great way to wind down. Darkness fell and we were working with head lamps on. I was able to give the mill 60 pounds of wool to take back with them, saving me lots of $$ on shipping.
