More Maryland
Libby entered her Jacob ram and herself in the Shepherd's Lead contest at Md. Sheep and Wool. The contestants must wear a wool outfit of their design and construction and lead a sheep around the ring in front of judges, then explain their outfit and how they made it. Quite a challenge. Libby came up with a classy Alpine outfit and led her newly trained lamb through the routine. She came in second with advice to do more explaining about her handspun, handknit outfit next time. We were very impressed with the fact that Libby came in second with the intense competition, and more impressed that she didn't pass out from wearing wool in the 100 degree heat. Riccola anyone?
