Maryland Sheep and Wool is the perfect place to find lambs to kiss. My booth neighbor, Susan's Fiber Shop from Wisconsin, brought a bottle baby Teeswater ram lamb with her. He was the hit of the weekend and brought a lot of people into her booth. I managed to get one smooch with him before we got busy. I was thinking I might snatch him away and hide him in Libby's trailer, but he was sold pretty quick. I exorcised my grief with hugs from Libby's Jacob lamb, then found an Icelandic ram lamb to love on a bit. With the hideous heat that weekend holding a hot wooly creature to your chest was not exactly pleasant, but those sweet little lamb lips were ever so delectable.
