I love the buttercups that appear in the pasture this time of year. The sheep haven't gotten to them yet, surprisingly. I'll enjoy them while they are adorning the grass.
I keep this journal as a record of my adventures on the farm, my hopes and dreams, failures and successes, for anyone who might want to take the leap, as I did, six years ago.

Buttercups are a mildly poisonous plant (causes photosensitization) and most animals don't like them. O.K. in hay.
