Mia decided she wanted silk flowers for her nineteen centerpieces at the Hyatt reception. I love the colors she picked - bright and vibrant to perk up the huge but rather neutral banquet room. After a long, cold and grey winter these flowers can't help but make you happy just to look at them. We had a great time assembling them, with Kim Leinker, nurse-friend and bridesmaid, and Anne Fisher, mother of the groom, pitching in.
