Loki and Nicholas
My two Merino/Bluefaced Leicester ram lambs, Loki and Nicholas are growing nicely. They have very thick, dense coats. Both their mothers are also very dense, something I've been striving for in my flock. Nicholas has more curliness, but Loki is more Merino. Softness and density - good things in a fleece.

That is a beautiful looking lamb...very nice thick fleece.
Now this is a compliment one does not hear too often - you are so dense. The mommys and the lambs are just beutiful.
I've been called dense before, a few times even. I don't deny it! It's true! Why else would I raise my own fiber when my best fiber friends are buying 50# of Corriedale through the mail??!!
