King of the Field

What a handsome figure Chris cuts on the hill. When I let the sheep and goats out I have to jump in the truck and drive down the road to make sure they don't run through the fence onto the road. Can you imagine, 50 acres, two ponds and an apple orchard and they want to get through the fence and get outta here. What monkeys they are. Today I just got down the road in time to blow the horn and scare them back in. We are planning on having our tractor here by November with the post hole digger so Matt can start getting the new fence in before the snow flies. We are on a downhill slide to winter and you can't be caught unprepared here, in the Way Back Yonder on the frontier of Northern Appalachia.
