Hannah and I took Perdita for a walk to her school this morning. There is a lovely walking path through the neighborhood with beautiful floribunda roses and fruit trees laden with their treasures. Hannah picks up persimmons from the tree on the edge of her recreation field at school. She made delicious jam which we eat for breakfast. The weather is cloudy but a very pleasant 65 F. Some of the trees are completely new to me, and drop interesting clusters of berries on the sidewalk.
