A Visit to Mary's

I love to go to Mary's, especially in the spring time when her beautiful weeping willows are swaying over the brook that flows through the barnyard of her lovely homestead. Mary and I are so like-minded - only she is much more self-sufficient. I admire her so much. She raises almost all her own food - meat, veggies, chicken, eggs, and has three beautiful horses. Nothing phases Mary. She's got it all figured out. We visited a while as I feasted my eyes on the trees, flowers, the babbling brook and played with the babies. I needed to get home and take care of my own animals. Wish I could have sat in a rocking chair on her lovely porch and pondered the week I just finished and the weekend ahead, but I had miles to go before I sleep.
