We decided to make some felt yardage in school. We weren't sure what we would do with it but I wanted to teach the students about yurts, nomadic Asian tribes, and Nordic peoples, etc. and a hands-on exercise in felting just seemed the right way to do it. We had lots of fun and the students learned how HARD work felting is. When our arms got tired we put the felt on the floor and let our feet do the job. The felt is beautiful, not as hard as I would like, but lovely.
