Plenty of Apples

On the way back from our sunset swim in the pond I could see some new apples in the wild orchard. What a wonderful treat they will be for the sheep and goats when they ripen and fall down. The orchard is very old. Sister Grace tells me it was there when they came from Brooklyn in the 1930's. I bet I could get it going again with pruning but I just don't have the time. I have a mountain of fleeces to skirt, soap to make, bags to sew, photos to have printed, lambs and kids to vaccinate, it goes on and on. The apples will just have to fall down and be treats for the flock (and the occasional deer seeking safety from the hunters.)
