Okay, so it's not the cherry red Aga I've wanted for years...but when I spend all my money on sheep, what can I expect? This stove will be just fine for now and it was about $20,000 cheaper. The gas oven can be used as an alternate heat source if the power goes out and I can't get to the firewood for the wood stove. Now I can use the stove in the milk room for dyeing and soapmaking which it was intended for. The sheep and cow salt and pepper shakers were a gift from my BOCES teacher friend, Laurie. They're absolutely adorable. I am constantly overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the teachers I work with!
