The weather took a turn for the better today. We woke up to a chilly house and clear blue skies. Hannah was up about 4 am, and tried to get Auntie Mia to get up and keep her company. I woke up at 6 to see Hannah standing in my bedroom doorway, waiting for me to wake up. We've had a lovely day together, playing with kittens and chicks, running up and back from the pond and getting ready for the weekend. Hannah wants to come to the art festival, so Luke will stay home to help Mia run the farm. Hannah helped me make lavender beeswax shea butter hand creme today. Mia made lasagna tonight for dinner. It's wonderful to have all this company and so many hands to help out. There were hugs all day long...until it was bath time and Luke decided that was a no-go. We bargained for a morning bath. We are all thoroughly pooped tonight.
