While working at the Tinicum Arts Festival, we stayed with my good buddie and former teaching colleague, Jan. She and her husband, Dave, and trying to unload this palace and move up to (brace yourself!) Brookfield, New York! Yes, it's true. Jan came to visit me and fell in love with the property across the street from me, which used to be part of my farm. It would be a done deal already but, unfortunately, the housing market in New Jersey is dead, dead, dead. Not even this beautiful house, immaculately clean and beautifullly equipped, can find a buyer. We are keeping our fingers crossed that Jan can get up here soon. It would be just too much fun having her so close. Oh, the trouble we could get into! In the meantime, Hannah enjoys a meditative moment in Jan's "Fantasy Garden."
