It's setting up to be another hot steamy day. Matt told me to go out and check on the flock...and this is where I found them. There is a big grove of trees on the edge of my land with room to walk around under the branches and surrounded by a sea of grass. How heavenly and cool for the goats and sheep. They can eat the grass, then lie down in the shade to relax. Bark is very good for them as it contains minerals and stimulates the rumens. I almost didn't see them then someone lifted a nose just high enough...
