Mia is so thrilled and relieved. Her mother is, too! All three nurses in the previous picture passed their nursing boards and are going out to celebrate tonight! What fun! Mia will start her job as a Med/Surg nurse on the Neuro-something unit (strokes, etc.)sometime this month. She will work three 12 hour days on the night shift. Wow, will her life change suddenly! I like the idea of having four days off every week. She has to work every other weekend. The extra time will allow her to do IV home care and other things to make extra money. Mia's new roommate bought all new furniture for their upstairs apt. in Jenny's mother's Victorian house. They painted the walls eggplant - I can't wait to see it. I will be the seamstress when they decide on fabric for curtains, throw pillows, duvet covers, etc. Monika is bringing her brown lab to meet Mia tonight. She bought a brown sofa to match her "baby." The sofa pulls out for mothers who come to visit...hope I get to make the trip sometime soon.
