Sick Lambs
My bottle lambs are not doing well and it distresses me. It started when I weaned them from milk replacer, as I should have done at four months of age. They are not thriving like the lambs who have moms to nurse from. Those monsters are so big and heavy I can hardly catch them let alone pick them up. All the lambs are eating hay, and it is good hay, but the bottle brigade is rather sickly. They are not getting something they need. One is quite ill, but responding to treatment. She was eating green grass yesterday, which, hopefully, will perk her up. Green grass and sunshine should perk anybody up.
