Numero Uno was licking the snow off the top of this igloo. I shooed him back into the barn for the night and put up the gate. I don't want any goats wandering out in the snow and dropping their kids. Goats love to sleep outside, but goat babies are more vulnerable to the cold than lambs and I'm not sure if the goats would bring them back in after giving birth. The babies might freeze first. Everyone is fed and watered, and watered again. I am heading for the trailer. The snow is so beautiful...but funny how I find myself wishing for a vacation where there is clear blue water and a sandy beach, with a cute waiter bringing me a strawberry daiquiri every half hour or so...
