Writing to Mom and Dad
Today is letter day. We meant to write on Sunday but the day got away from us. Hannah and Luke are writing to Mommy and Daddy. Lord knows what they are saying, and I'm not looking. We'll go to town to mail the notes and pick up rabbit food at Homestead. Mary is shearing today and we offered to help, but she politely declined. I'm secretly relieved, but would have enjoyed watching Gwen Hinman from New Hampshire work. Her dad, David Hinman, sheared for me years ago and passed away recently, running shears in hand, bent over a sheep. What a way to go.
