My Jungle Bag

I found this bag cut out and partially assembled. I love when that happens - I can zip it up in no time. I found this fabric in a fancy decorator shop in Flemington, NJ. I try to find remnants of expensive fabric, but once in a while I see something on the bolt and have to buy it. I had the same bag in my booth at NY State Sheep and Wool last year. A school teacher from the Bronx just fell in love with it and went running to find her friends to get some money from them to buy it. It was a thrill for me to see someone so excited over one of my bags. That kind of enthusiasm keeps me sewing, even when the needle breaks, the thread pops and the bobbin jams!
