My Piney Ridge

I adore this long, beautiful piney ridge that lines my farm. For most of the year it is a lovely green mix of evergreens and leafy trees that goes up at a sharp angle. The ridge provides a dramatic stage for the rising sun and moon. At this time of year the ridge is gorgeous. I walked up the hillside with the dogs to take some pictures today after the market. I wish I had a better camera, but no camera can do justice to the wide open spaces here on my farm. I think any other place I may ever live would be awfully confining and dull

compared to this lovely landscape.
