The rain continues to come down and the grass is still growing. I'm amazed at the clover, wildflowers and new grasses that are still coming up. Brush hogging the tall, bitter and dead grass exposes the short, sweet food close to the ground. I don't recall my sheep ever having this much to eat on the ground in August. The rain that is causing so much trouble in other parts of the country is giving us all this grass. I'm thinking the sheep should be able to graze until the snow falls.
