I stopped by to visit my friend Susanne Farrington in Hamilton to pick up some of her fabulous bags and hats to take to Maryland Sheep and Wool. Susanne uses my Mother Fiber to make her beautiful felted creations. I'm thrilled that she is sending some of them for me to display in my booth. Susanne has a lovely hideaway off the beaten path in Hamilton, high on Johnnycake Hill. I've been using her hand thrown cups for my shaving mugs for a while now. Susanne and I like our bartering arrangement. I'm planning to take a felting lesson with Susanne this summer so I can learn some of her felting secrets - like the salad spinner she uses to get the water out of the bag! Amazing!
