After dinner and chores tonight we decided to go for a sunset swim around 8 PM. We drove the truck, loaded with kids and dogs, up the road and on to the field. What a lovely evening with great pink streaks across the sky. It stays light until 10 PM this far north and we had all the time we needed to play. Hannah and Luke had tube races across the pond. Bodie and Holly took turns with the one tennis ball we had with us. Izzy got his bath, reluctantly, and Jasper stuck close to me (for fear he would have a bath forced on him). When it began to get dark, and we were cold, it was time to bundle up and go down the hill. Poppy had a fire waiting for us.
