Lynne (aka Sockladyspins.blogspot.com) spins and knits these amazing earflapper hats. When I first saw them I thought they were mainly for kids. Lynne assured me that they were big enough for grownups. Here is a happy grownup customer at the Delaware Riverkeeper show last weekend. The earflaps help keep the cheeks warm. Lynne should know as she lives in the mountains of British Columbia, all by herself, in an area which only gets mail twice a week, and the stores don't carry fresh produce. I wear her socks every day, and believe they carry a special energy - after all they were conceived and knit by a very courageous woman.
