It was brief but wonderful. The weather forecast was awful, but we drove away from the storm, into pouring rain which continued the whole way. Annie cooked a fabulous meal. Eric played with his guns. I cuddled with Hannah and Luke. Matt watched football all day long. We were joined by Eric's second-in-command newly moved from Kentucky to work with him at the Pine Tree Council. Friday morning we were on the road, back to the farm where the sitter was hanging on by a thread.
