Testing 123

 I am still here

Are you still there?

I thought my blog was lost in the cloud but it appears to be lingering here, waiting for me to figure out how to get back on it.  So what’s new?

I am still on the farm, raising sheep, keeping it going.  I’m retiring in the fall to help Mia raise her baby boy, due in May.  I will have completed 20 years at my school and after a recent fall there, which fractured my spine, I decided to read the handwriting on the wall and pa close it in.  I gave my heart and soul to the place for 20 years.  Now Mia needs me, my farm needs me,    My farm is who I am.

Some updates: Eric has retired from his BSA job heading up the Silicon Valley Monterey Council and is roaming around the country with Annie in a refurbished Airstream Trailer.  Hannah completed six years doing avionics with the US Marines and is working on private experimental aircraft with Joby Aviation in Monterey California.  Luke is finished with the Marines and is deciding what to do with the rest of his life.  AJ is a Major and a chaplain in the US Army and has been deployed to the Middle East and South Korea three times.  He has a pulpit in St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Parsippany NJ when he is not drilling with the National Guard.  Mia is a hospital based Nurse Practitioner at St. Barnabas in Livingston, NJ.  Matt is still trying to save the planet one building at a time, teaching energy saving practices all over the country.

Tune in for more news from the farm if you are interested, and hopefully you are still receiving my bulletins from the way back yonder of upstate New York.
