"Woman, Why are You Weeping?"

"Woman, why are you weeping?  Whom are you seeking?"  These lines from the Book of John are especially poignant and meaningful to me.  We are all seeking something.  Some have found it.  I'm still looking.  The farm feeds my soul in a way nothing else does.  The beautiful land, big sky and wide open spaces are sustenance to my spirit.  I believe God is an unseen Force that moves among us in mysterious ways.  We are all on a journey.  I pray that Force guides us and protects us on that journey until we meet the end that is not ours to know.  On this Easter morning I wish blessings on all who take the time to stop and share a little bit of my life here on Maggie's Farm.

I want to thank you for sharing your life with me. I read everything you write. I live in southern Texas and we don't have the winters that you have, I like to read your descriptions of the weather. I marvel at how hard you work to keep the farm going and your bags, soaps, lotions, sheep etc. You are Wonder Woman!

Your welcome, Sarah. I can't imagine having sheep in a warm climate, but people do. Texas is the angora goat capital of the nation. Goats love hot weather and the desert is heaven to them. It was so wonderful to meet you in Maryland at Sheep and Wool. I hope you can come again one of these years. Thank you for sticking with me.
