I haven't made soap in many months. Whenever there is a hiatus like that I become very nervous about making soap again. The ingredients are so expensive, and the process so precarious, I am afraid of ruining it and being left with a useless pot of gelatinous goo. I thought about it for days to get myself in the right "head." I lined up all the ingredients on the table in the milk room and went over my directions again and again. Finally, I just said GET A GRIP GIRL! I have to make soap like crazy for the fall shows, and make soap hearts for Lisa's wedding favors. They want them this month to get them wrapped in gauze so I have to get going. Low and behold, the soap looks great. Don't know what I was afraid of...
