Mia and I toured the various fiber art competitions at Maryland Sheep and Wool, admiring the beautiful creations made by artists who work with wool. I had to keep my hands behind my back, as I was eager to reach out and stroke the lovely pieces which is strictly verboten! I was definitely in the presence of greatness, and can only dream of having the time and talent to compete with these fiber artists. For the time being I will be content with raising the fiber animals who provide the materials for them, and work on improving my own skills.
