The teenaged chicks are fine and happy in the chicken room. I think they are enjoying the big birds all around them. They are hopping all around and chirping and twilling in their chick-speak. I put broomsticks across the pen so they can roost up high. My co-worker has his 5 chicks now. Holly is taking it very well. I told her I would get her some more chicks to love soon. We had a lot of fun tie dyeing socks in school, after writing letters to a former student who has just begun a tour of duty in Afghanistan. I was really proud of the girls, who wrote a full legal page full of chatty info to a kid they never met. Tomorrow we will be sporting some pretty psychedelic anklets!
