Bird Bag

My bunny friend, Sally Campbell from Virginia, sent me a box of gorgeous, high quality upholstery fabric. I couldn't wait to put my scissors to it. I whipped up this messenger bag before I took the doggies up the hill to the pond today. What a perfect bag to take on a cruise and wander around the Islands with.

skip going to the islands! I'd love to carry this bag around every day ....... Since there'd be no money in the bag, the trip to the island would have to be in my head, but that'd be an easy trip every time I looked down. You certainly have great friends that know just what fabrics will highlight your talents in bagmaking! Keep them coming girl. Oh by the way, you're gonna need a better and bigger display for all these lovely bags ..... my bones are aching already from carrying them to the shows ... but what a lovely ache!

Oh, I have another thought ..

Are you going to start making fleece coats for some of the sheep? I just went to the Pennsylvania Farm Show, and most of the sheep had blankets and hoods on in preparation for their judging. Looked like a sheep Ku Klux Klan convention - very weird. I know the covers were for the judging, but made me think about your wanting to protect some fleece for sales. Just curious.
