Chaplain Oliver

AJ is now a full fledged US Army Chaplain. I'm very pleased and proud. It's been a long haul since he first started on this road, and he stuck with it. It seems like yesterday we were at Fort Benning, Georgia, watching him graduate from boot camp. Since then he's been deployed to Cuba, attended Chaplain School at Fort Jackson for two summers, graduated from Rutgers College, attended three years of seminary school, been ordained an Orthodox Priest, participated in many drills and encampments, been flown to remote parts of the Nevada desert to minister to troops in the wild, and comforted families who have lost loved ones in war. This is just the beginning of a lifetime of service to God and Country.
