At long last I have my stairs. Loren, my former BOCES student, came to help Matt build and stain the long awaited stairs that will allow me to bypass the animals and milk room when I come in and out of the barn. They will eliminate going through two of the four doors to get packages inside. A top will go over the stairs to prevent an avalanche of snow from falling down from the roof above. I'm already planning a wreath, tinkling bells, and Christmas lights!
I'm so happy for you, Maggie! The stairs look great. I too have one of those "retired carpenter" husbands; takes awhile to get things done, and then he asks himself why he didn't do whatever-it-was ages ago. :-) Donna
Yay! Congrats Maggie :)
