The anticipated birth happened around feeding time last night. The mom who I was hoping would give birth before leaving for the weekend had her kid - a cute little red and white buck. Mom and tiny baby are doing well. I was glad I had mom in a warm dry place, as a chilling rain was falling outside. Moms often try to get away to a private place to give birth and it's not always the best place for a little one to come into the world.
