A Learning Experience

I was lucky to have Mia and Kim working the booth at Maryland Sheep and Wool so I could demonstrate spinning for the curious fans. People stop and stare in amazement at the process of turning loose fibers into strong thread. It's a good opportunity for me to do some teaching of history, looking through the "lens" of fiber.
