My student, Santana, came to visit me with her sister, Amanda, and her grandparents. We had a wonderful visit. Christine, grandmother, and I have a lot in common, including a love of fabric and wool. She presented my Hannah, who loves cats, with a beautiful handmade bag with a needle felted cat on the outside. The inside is a pretty flowery fabric with lots of pocketbooks, Bundaflicka style, only this bag has nifty button tabs to hold them down. I could learn a lot from this lady! I loved meeting the people Santana has told me so much about!
