At long last my chickens are free to come outside. Matt finished the roof on the pen and built a ladder for them to descend from the chicken room in the barn. So far, not one has ventured out. I wonder if it is the ducks waiting on the ground that is keeping them inside? It might take a few days for them to figure out how to negotiate the ladder. We'll see.
